Q1: How did you get into started with the Ohio Roller Girls? How long have you been skating?
A: I found OHRG at a local festival called Comfest. I was intrigued and tried out September of 2006. I was a terrible skater as a kid, not very coordinated. I had to teach myself how to skate before I tried out.
Q2: What position do you play?
A: Pivot and IM
Q3: What makes you tougher than the next girl?
A: I have a green belt in Shotokan karate, nuff said.
Q4: How many tattoos do you have?
A: Three on my neck, one on my shoulder, two on my back, a Bully star on my face, one on my hip, and seven on my forearms. That's...15.
Q5: Where do you get your ink?
A: Mostly at Evolved Body Art. Artists are Andy Ringo and Anna Banana. My Buddha is from Vegas though.
Q6: Any plans for future tattoos?
A: For sure! I have it all mapped out.
Q7: When you're not kicking ass in the rink, what are you up to?
A: Kicking ass in the ring. There's mostly men in my karate class, and very stealthy men at that so kicking ass might be stretching it...a bit.
Q8: Roller girls have a tough girl/pinup girl, tough and sexy quality to them - does that carry over into your life outside the rink as well as inside the rink?
A: I don't really relate with the pinup image. I'm more of the goofy girl next door type. The roller girls I know, myself included, usually stink of sweat so bad you don't want to get within five feet of them anyway.
Q9: How can we find out more about Bitsy Banger and the Blackeye Bullies? Do you have a website or myspace to share with your fans?
A: www.ohiorollergirls.com ~ It's all there.
